Chickens, ducks & turkeys
Our chickens are 100% free range and eat lots of bugs and seeds (in the summer). In the winter we feed them grains, seeds and alfalfa.
2010:
We will not be breeding or selling any turkeys. Possibly a few White Peking ducks.
2009:
Our Blue Slate Turkey hen, Squidward, hatched five duck eggs late this fall. The ducklings followed her everywhere and when she called they came running. She has also sat on chicken eggs and raised baby chicks. She is a great brooder hen.
